This B&B is simply amazing! Harry and Nicola made me feel right at home. The breakfast was incredible with fresh organic fruits and perfectly poached eggs. The cozy clawfoot bath was perfect after exploring nearby Brecon Beacons. I ended up extending my stay because I loved it so much! 😊

The freshly brewed coffee with breakfast was impressive.
I was appalled by the lack of detailed local information. Planning my meals was a struggle due to limited dining options. The TV was too far from the bed, making it uncomfortable to watch.

The TV was positioned so far from the bed that it felt like it was in another room. a wall-mounted swivel option would have made it more convenient. the vintage bath plug had seen better days, slowly draining after filling, which was a bit frustrating during an otherwise relaxing soak.

A delightful escape in nature
The warmth and hospitality of Nicola and Harry made us feel right at home. The breathtaking gardens added a wonderful touch to our stay, and the breakfast was a feast of flavors.
While the local dining options were somewhat limited in the evenings, we quickly found ways to plan our meals ahead of time.

the views were decent, I suppose, but the TV was miles away from the bed, refreshing my memory of why I should've just stayed in a Travelodge. I also woudl ve appreciated a complimentary gesture for my troubles, instead of being treated like just another average guest. I almost thought of leaving a good review, but just couldn't.

Stunning views in Gilwern! 🌄
The brekkie was thick with options, I had the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon—lekker, the best I've had away from home. Nicola welcomed us so warmly, showing us around and making us feel right at home. Sitting by the fire in the games room with a drink was such a chill vibe!
Only downside is the local dining options are limited after hours, but we made a plan.
